- Amy Lennox and Rachel Tucker lead the world premiere 'Thelma & Louise' musical at London's Young Vic, with Lennox as Thelma and Tucker as Louise — both are Olivier Award nominees
- Trevor Dion Nicholas (Hal) headlines the newly announced supporting cast, joined by Jordan Luke Gage (JD), Samuel Edwards (Darryl), Alex Gibson-Giorgio (Jimmy), Letita Hector (Sarah), Tamlyn Henderson (Harlan/Max) and Jack Butterworth (Trooper/Singer)
- The ensemble is rounded out by Suzie McAdam, Eleanor Walsh, Alex Given, Kamilla Fernandes, Rushand Chambers and Joshua Dever
- Callie Khouri, who wrote the Oscar and Golden Globe-winning original 1991 screenplay, wrote the book for the musical, with music and lyrics by Grammy-nominated Neko Case
- Trip Cullman directs the production, which runs Sept. 3 through Oct. 24 in the Young Vic's Main House, opening the theater's 2026/7 season
- The production is a co-production among the Young Vic, Sonia Friedman Productions, Blue Spruce Productions, Ley Line Entertainment and Khouri, presented by Mandy Greenfield in association with MGM On Stage
Why it matters: The Young Vic's six-week run gives a stage shape to a culturally iconic 1991 film, anchored by two Olivier-nominated leads and a book from original screenwriter Khouri herself — a creative pedigree that signals this adaptation aims well above standard jukebox-musical territory.
