- ChatGPT offers app integrations connecting user accounts to services like Spotify, Uber, DoorDash, Canva, Booking.com, Expedia, Zillow, and Target, letting the assistant act on the user's behalf across shopping, travel, design, and more.
- DoorDash integration launched in December 2025, limited to U.S. users and participating grocery retailers including Kroger, Safeway, Fairway Market, and Wegmans.
- SeatGeek and Wix both launched integrations in March 2026, with Wix enabling full website creation from text or voice prompts.
- Target launched a beta integration before Black Friday, letting shoppers add items to carts and choose Drive Up, in-store pickup, or standard shipping.
- Uber integration is U.S.-only, restricted to on-demand rides (no advance booking), with options including UberX, UberXL, Comfort, and Black.
- Connecting accounts shares personal data with ChatGPT — including playlists, listening history, and order details — though users can disconnect at any time via Settings.
- OpenAI plans additional partners including OpenTable, PayPal, and Walmart launching in 2026, while the rollout remains limited to U.S. and Canada, excluding Europe and the U.K.
Why it matters: Partners gain a new AI-driven discovery and commerce surface inside ChatGPT, but every connection means sharing personal data — playlists, order history, location — with OpenAI, and European and U.K. users are entirely locked out of the rollout.
