- During its Q2 earnings call, Volvo said it plans to reveal two new electric models at the end of summer, and Automotive News reports both are being developed for Europe and could reach US showrooms as early as 2028.
- The two rumored models — an electric sedan and wagon — are expected to ride on Volvo's SPA3 platform, an 800-volt architecture with cell-to-body battery design that also underpins the EX60.
