- Fagbenle is best known for playing Luke Bankole — husband of Elisabeth Moss's June Osborne — across all six seasons of Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale.
- Recent credits include a role as the domineering Pharaoh in Prime Video's The Old Stories: Moses and a part in Hulu's All's Fair alongside Naomi Watts.
- He also starred as the male lead in Peacock's The Miniature Wife with Elizabeth Banks and Matthew MacFadyen.
- Fagbenle portrayed Barack Obama opposite Viola Davis's Michelle Obama in Showtime's The First Lady, and appeared in Apple TV's Presumed Innocent and the Netflix series No Good Deed with Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano.
