- UTA has signed Tom Hopper for representation in all areas, adding the Umbrella Academy and Terminal List actor to its roster.
- Tom Hopper is best known for playing Luther Hargreeves in Netflix's The Umbrella Academy opposite Elliot Page, a series that has consistently ranked among the platform's Top 10 TV shows since its premiere.
- Hopper recently appeared in Amazon's The Terminal List prequel Dark Wolf alongside Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch, and will reprise his role as Raife in the show's Season 2.
- Hopper starred in the romantic comedy Space Cadet opposite Emma Roberts and Gabrielle Union, and is set to appear in Justin Chadwick's The Mark opposite Jessica Alba.
- Hopper produced the independent feature Better through his Pine Tree Productions banner, a behind-the-camera credit the announcement folds into a story framed purely as a signing.
- Hopper retains Range Media Partners, Jackoway Austen, 2pm Sharp, and Waring McKenna in the UK alongside his new UTA deal.
Why it matters: UTA is adding a client with two active streaming franchises (Netflix's Umbrella Academy, Amazon's Terminal List prequel) and an existing producing vehicle in Pine Tree Productions — a roster pick that pairs on-screen demand with growing off-screen leverage, even as Hopper keeps four other agencies in the mix.
