- UTA signed Anthony Ramos — a Grammy winner and Emmy nominee — for representation in all areas, with the actor having previously been at CAA while continuing with Range Media Partners and Paul Hastings, LLP.
- Ramos most recently starred in Netflix's Kathryn Bigelow thriller "A House of Dynamite" and is set to lead the upcoming live-action "Bob the Builder" film, which he's also producing alongside Mattel, Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorican Productions, and ShadowMachine.
- Ramos originated the dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in Lin-Manuel Miranda's Broadway hit "Hamilton," earning a Grammy Award and a Primetime Emmy nomination for the Disney+ live stage recording.
- Ramos earned a Golden Globe nomination for starring as Usnavi in the film adaptation of "In the Heights" and appeared in major studio films including "Twisters," "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," and "A Star Is Born" opposite Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
- Ramos released the single "New York City," the first record from his upcoming English-language salsa album produced by Sergio George, and was named King of the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City last month.
Why it matters: UTA now represents one of Hollywood's most versatile Latino performers — a Hamilton and In the Heights veteran currently starring in Netflix's A House of Dynamite — while Ramos retains Range Media Partners and Paul Hastings, signaling a multi-agency team built to handle his expanding film, TV, theater, and music slate.
