- Zelensky warned the UN that rising fuel prices and deadlier drone technology demonstrate Russia's war has spilled beyond Ukraine's borders.
- Venezuela's Delcy Rodríguez is also addressing world leaders at the UN, putting a Russia-aligned voice in the room during the debate over the conflict.
Why it matters: Zelensky is using the UN platform to reframe the war as a global cost — not just a bilateral fight — by pointing to fuel-price spillovers and advanced drone tech crossing borders. Venezuela's parallel appearance signals the breadth of geopolitical camps now weighing in on the General Assembly floor.
