Cadillac will hand-build a custom Escalade IQ for you, but it will cost an extra $55,000

- Cadillac launched "Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ," a bespoke one-of-one customization program hand-built at the Artisan Center in Warren, Michigan, extending the hand-built CELESTIQ experience to select clients per global VP Kristian Equilina.
- The Curated package carries a $54,995 price tag on top of the vehicle itself; added to the 2026 Escalade IQ's $127,405 base price, the total approaches $182,400.
- Buyers choose from more than 160 premium exterior colors and finishes and a palette of up to 44 interior colors spanning all three rows, the center console, and floor mats, guided by a dedicated design concierge.
- Each completed model receives a unique VIN and an exclusive serialized builder's badge, built for the 2027 model year with deliveries beginning in the second half of 2027 in the US and Canada.
- The Escalade IQ is powered by a 212 kWh battery (205 kWh usable) delivering up to 465 miles of range, with dual motors producing 750 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque for a 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds.
- The 2028 Escalade IQ will be GM's first vehicle to debut eyes-off highway driving via Super Cruise, paired with a 55-inch Horizon display.
Why it matters: For ultra-luxury SUV buyers willing to pay a $54,995 premium on top of a $127,405 base price, Cadillac is positioning the Escalade IQ against rivals like the bespoke Rolls-Royce and Bentley offerings — but the one-of-one hand-built treatment also extends GM's halo-vehicle playbook beyond the CELESTIQ sedan to its biggest, most expensive electric model.
