Why it matters: Gen V's cancellation ends a standalone series for Sinclair and the Godolkin cast, but Kripke and Goldberg have already committed to continuing their arcs in The Boys' fifth and final season. For fans, the Vought Cinematic Universe is temporarily shrinking — Vought Rising doesn't arrive until 2027, leaving a gap with no new VCU show on the horizon.
