'Gen V' Not Returning for Season 3 at Amazon

Why it matters: Gen V characters are being folded into The Boys' fifth and final season rather than continuing as a standalone series, narrowing the Vought Cinematic Universe to one confirmed future project — the 2027 prequel Vought Rising — plus The Boys: Mexico in development. The era of VCU spinoffs is effectively ending alongside the flagship.
