- Rivian will install over 150 DC fast chargers across Caruso's Southern California portfolio as part of its Rivian Adventure Network, with the rollout open to all EVs and powered by renewable energy
- The charger buildout builds on Rivian's existing footprint at The Grove in Los Angeles and The Americana at Brand in Glendale, and is expected to happen over the next year
- Rivian is opening two new showrooms in 2026 — one at The Commons at Calabasas and a second expanding its presence at The Americana at Brand in Glendale
- The new showrooms are designed more like galleries than traditional dealerships, with programming and private events planned throughout the year
- The partnership includes year-round ride-and-drive events across Caruso locations in Los Angeles, Glendale, Calabasas, Marina del Rey, and Thousand Oaks
- Rivian owners enrolled in Caruso Signature will continue to receive free annual parking at Caruso properties
- Rivian is extending its presenting sponsorship of the annual Christmas tree lighting at The Grove, now heading into its 25th year
Why it matters: By placing 150+ DC fast chargers at malls people already visit, Rivian is folding charging into routine shopping trips rather than dedicated highway pit stops. The 2026 showroom additions at Calabasas and Glendale double down on gallery-style brand experiences over traditional dealerships, and crucially the chargers are open to all EVs — Rivian is competing for the parking lot, not just its own owners.
