Bleecker Street Acquires Zegler Thriller 'NDA'

- Bleecker Street acquired U.S. rights to "NDA," a psychological thriller currently in production in New York, starring Golden Globe winner Rachel Zegler ("West Side Story"), Penn Badgley ("You") and Oscar nominee Amy Ryan ("Gone Baby Gone").
- Audrey Ellis Fox is making her feature directorial debut with "NDA," which she also wrote; her original script landed on the 2024 Black List and was selected for the Women in Film X Black List's 2023 Feature Residency.
- Zegler plays Dana, a woman working through "a maddening day of mediation for an office harassment claim," wrestling with "the price of her silence, sanity, and the truth" as a deadline looms.
- Bleecker Street CEO Kent Sanderson called the script "one of the best I've read" and framed the project as "bold, filmmaker-driven cinema," with Ellis Fox exec producing alongside Sanderson, Tyler DiNapoli, Miranda King, and Christian Hall.
- Producers include Jared Ian Goldman and Zola Elgart Glassman (Mighty Engine), Keith Calder and Jess Wu Calder (SNOOT), Caitlin Gold (Tanbark Pictures) and Daniel Ginsberg (In The Cut Productions).
- Zegler's upcoming slate includes reprising her Olivier Award-winning turn in "Evita" on Broadway in 2027 and Lin-Manuel Miranda's film adaptation of "Octet," while Badgley is coming off five seasons of Netflix's "You" and heading into rom-com "You Deserve Each Other" with Meghann Fahy.
