- WTGL opens its inaugural season on November 8, 2026 with five city-named teams of five LPGA Tour players each, playing every shot live at the purpose-built indoor SoFi Center in Palm Beach, Florida, with all competitors mic'd up for a made-for-TV format.

- Atlanta Drive GC leads its roster with Solheim Cup star Charley Hull alongside Andrea Lee, Minjee Lee, Nataliya Guseva and Yuka Saso; Boston Common Golf fields Lottie Woad, Celine Boutier, Chizzy Iwai, Megan Khang and Ina Yoon, with Lydia Ko for New York Golf Club, Lexi Thompson for Motor City Golf Club and Michelle Wie West for Los Angeles Golf Club.
- Sky Sports holds exclusive broadcast rights to the 2026 and 2027 WTGL seasons alongside two further years of the men's TGL, and the inaugural WTGL calendar runs 10 round-robin regular-season matches from November 8 to December 16, with the top four reaching semi-finals and a best-of-three final on December 23-24, including a possible third game.
Why it matters: Sky Sports holds exclusive rights to the 2026 and 2027 WTGL seasons plus two more men's TGL years, and because all five women's clubs also field men's teams, one broadcaster now carries both circuits from the SoFi Center. Scoring is unorthodox: three Hammer boosts per team and a 40-second clock put up to three points on a single hole.
