- Hollywood Climate Summit will honor model and activist Quannah ChasingHorse, scientist and author Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Meredith Shea, and Universal's GreenerLight Program at its first-ever leadership ceremony on June 3 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

- HCS is partnering with Jackson Wild for the Hollywood Climate Summit Awards honoring excellence in nature and climate storytelling; submissions are open through June 22, with the joint ceremony set for November in Los Angeles.
- Context Collaborative, the nonprofit behind HCS, says it has engaged over 40,000 creative professionals and 7,000 companies across 65 countries to date.
Why it matters: By creating a formal leadership ceremony in its seventh year, the Hollywood Climate Summit is institutionalizing climate recognition within the entertainment industry—elevating sustainability figures and programs (including the Academy itself) from conversation partners to publicly honored change agents, while a new Jackson Wild–co-produced awards category gives nature and climate storytelling a dedicated competitive platform.
