- Paul Bettany returns as Vision in the eight-episode Disney+ series 'VisionQuest,' premiering Oct. 14, marking his first live-action MCU role since 'WandaVision.'
- The trailer opens with Vision working at a pub in human form, where a coworker asks about 'that redhead' — a reference to Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) — and Vision replies, 'Home is just me.'
- James Spader reprises Ultron, who appears in android form and sarcastically calls Vision 'Dad? Papa? Peepaw?' before being told 'Human avatars only!'
- James D'Arcy returns as J.A.R.V.I.S., warning Vision that keeping Ultron around 'isn't safe,' with the trailer showing Vision grappling with whether his memories of Wanda and their family were real.
- The cast adds Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., T'nia Miller as Jocasta, and Ruaridh Mollica as the grown-up Tommy Maximoff.
- Vision's backstory traced in the piece: killed by Thanos in 'Avengers: Infinity War' when the Mind Stone was ripped from his forehead, then reanimated in 'WandaVision' after Wanda created a sitcom-inspired alternate world around him.
Why it matters: This is the first MCU role for Bettany since 'WandaVision' and the first time Ultron has returned to live-action since 'Age of Ultron,' giving Marvel a chance to close a character thread — Wanda's apparent death in 'Multiverse of Madness' — that was left dangling across two prior series.
