- Bee Entertainment is shopping a genre-focused slate at Busan's ACFM, seeking investment, co-development, distribution and licensing partners across four features (all 2027 releases) and three long-form TV dramas.
- Leading the slate is "Arithmadtic" ("Cong Tru Nhan Chia"), a psychological horror set in a Dark Academia-styled elite international school, starring Anh Thu and Lam Thanh My, directed by Irving Ly and opening January 2027.
- Vietnamese films grossed more than VND3 trillion ($114 million) domestically in 2025, outperforming international titles in the local market for the first time — momentum Bee Entertainment is now aiming to export.
- Pom Nguyen, director of "The Corpse" franchise (two films earning VND280 billion / $10.7 million combined), returns with action-comedy-family hybrid "How to Find a Fortune in 60 Days," due Q3 2027.
- Rounding out the film slate: Tran Nhan Kien's "The Step-Mother" about a fatherless boy and his stepmother (Q2 2027) and Le Ha Nguyen's horror romantic comedy "Dealing With a Ghost" (Q4 2027).
- The series lineup includes "The Unrecognized Heir," an 80-episode family drama on VTV9 that has amassed 1 billion social media views since premiering in December 2025, plus "A Deal With God" (65 episodes) and "Destined to Find You" (80 episodes, in post).
- Bee Entertainment operates as a subsidiary of Bee Comm, founded in 2009, which also produces the Vietnamese edition of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"
Why it matters: With Vietnamese films outgrossing international titles at home for the first time in 2025 ($114 million), Bee's 2027 slate — anchored by proven genre hitmaker Pom Nguyen, whose "Corpse" franchise earned $10.7 million across two films — is a concrete test of whether that domestic momentum can be converted into international deals brokered through Busan.
