Why it matters: The projectile landed roughly 95 kilometers inside Poland — vastly deeper than the 6.4-kilometer incursion in the 2022 Przewodow incident — and Poland tracked a dozen missiles threatening its airspace, narrowing the buffer between the Ukraine war and NATO territory. The timing, one day after Zelensky pressed Trump in person for more air defense, makes the unanswered request more acute.
