- Donald Trump said the war on Iran will end "very soon" without providing any details and reiterated that Tehran will not have a nuclear weapon.
- Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued an open letter to US voters ahead of the upcoming midterm elections, urging that the Trump administration must be changed.
Why it matters: Trump's "very soon" claim offers no concrete terms, timeline, or offramp for ending the conflict, while the IRGC is now openly appealing to the American electorate to remove his administration — making midterm voters a direct pressure point in the war's trajectory.
