BMW iX4 Spotted Testing at Nürburgring Ahead of 2027 Debut

- BMW's 2027 iX4 was spotted testing at the Nürburgring ahead of its expected debut, wearing the Neue Klasse design language with a new four-eyed kidney grille and a slanted coupe-like roofline.
- The iX4 will replace the current X4 and join BMW's Neue Klasse EV family alongside the iX3 SUV and i3 sedan, offered in two all-wheel-drive trims: 40 xDrive and 50 xDrive.
- Sharing underpinnings with the iX3, the iX4 will use BMW's Gen6 eDrive and an 800V architecture, with the iX3's 108.7 kWh battery (112.2 kWh in the US) delivering up to 500 miles WLTP / 434 miles EPA range.

- BMW's iX3 has already proven its real-world performance, driving over 1,000 km (621 miles) on a single charge in November and outlasting every other EV in NAF's summer range test.
