- Kia expanded the PV5 lineup to 10 body styles, adding the PV5 Prime, five- and seven-seat Passenger versions, Cargo Compact and Chassis Cab Donor models.

Why it matters: For Kia, the PV5’s 10 configurations, 39,000 global sales through August 2026 and a factory rated for 200,000 electric vans annually make its modular van strategy materially more than a concept. That production capacity provides room to add the PV7 and PV9 at an existing facility.
