- Miramax is developing a feature adaptation of Sloan Harlow's YA romantic thriller "Everything We Never Said," published in 2024 by G.P. Putnam's Sons, with Alloy Entertainment's Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Koplovitz Dutton producing.
- Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer are set to write the screenplay; the pair created Netflix's Emmy-winning "Trinkets," adapted "The Great Gatsby" for director Jon M. Chu, and wrote "Step Up 3D."
- The novel follows Ella Graham, who falls for her late best friend's boyfriend and then uncovers dark secrets in the friend's diary; it hit BookTok, landed on both the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists, and was named a Barnes & Noble YA Book of the Month.
- Alloy Entertainment developed the book through its New York division before licensing publication to Putnam while retaining film and TV rights — the same model that yielded "The Vampire Diaries," Netflix's "You," "Gossip Girl," "Pretty Little Liars," and the Sandler-produced "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah."
- Arianna D'Andrea is overseeing the project for Miramax, while Andelson and Meyer are repped by Artists First and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.
