- Subaru held the Trailseeker's base price flat at $39,995 for the 2027 model year, with three trims topping out at $46,555 for the range-topping Touring
- Trailseeker outsold both the Solterra and Uncharted last month to become Subaru's best-selling electric SUV just months after going on sale
- Trailseeker delivers 375 hp combined, hits 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds, and is now the quickest production vehicle Subaru has ever sold in the US
- Trailseeker runs on a 74.7 kWh battery with up to 281 miles of range, supports 150 kW DC fast charging (10–80% in ~28 minutes), and uses a standard NACS charge port
- Subaru equips every Trailseeker with standard Symmetrical AWD, 8.3 inches of ground clearance, X-MODE Dual Mode traction management, and 3,500 lbs of towing capacity
- Trailseeker is over 6 inches longer than the Solterra and offers 31.3 cubic feet of rear cargo — slightly more than the Tesla Model Y's 30 cu ft
- The base Trailseeker undercuts the Tesla Model Y AWD ($41,990) by roughly $2,000 while matching the Model Y RWD's $39,990 starting price
Why it matters: Subaru is keeping the Trailseeker's $39,995 entry price flat into 2027 even as it became the brand's top-selling electric SUV, undercutting the Tesla Model Y AWD ($41,990) by roughly $2,000. With 375 hp, standard AWD, and 3,500 lbs of towing, the Trailseeker delivers more utility than rivals at or near the same price.
