- The Rolling Stones released a music video for 'Mr. Charm,' filmed in Palmdale, California, and directed by Henry Scholfield, featuring actor Alexander Skarsgård in the lead role.
- Alexander Skarsgård plays a magnetic stranger who charms patrons at a desert motel and diner, with model Sara Sampaio portraying the only woman immune to his allure.
- The Rolling Stones unveiled a previously unreleased track, 'Bad Luck Hideaway,' a duet between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards featuring Charlie Watts’ final drum recordings from British Grove sessions.
- Foreign Tongues, the band’s latest LP released in July via Capitol Records, includes guest appearances by Paul McCartney, Robert Smith, Steve Winwood, and Chad Smith, and was recorded at Metropolis Studios in London.
- Mick Jagger confirmed the band is considering a residency in cities like London, New York, or Paris instead of traditional touring, citing the physical toll of travel.
- Keith Richards told Billboard the band is exploring new formats for live performances, suggesting a residency could allow them to 'bring the road to us' in 2025.
Why it matters: The Rolling Stones are shifting from global tours to potential residencies, a move that reduces physical strain on the aging band members while extending the commercial life of their new album through high-production live events in major cities.
