- BMW ChargingNetwork provides $500 in total credits for eligible model-year 2027 iX3, i5 and i7 purchases and leases: $300 usable at 15 public charging providers, including ChargePoint, EVgo, Shell Recharge and IONNA, plus $200 for IONNA locations only.
- BMW Membership is included free for one year at IONNA, with a 25% discount on charging during the trial period.
- BMW says credits apply automatically after customers enroll through the My BMW app under Charging, Services, Charging Wallet and BMW ChargingNetwork; eligible sessions then draw from the Digital Charging Wallet.
- iX3 is BMW’s first Neue Klasse vehicle, using sixth-generation eDrive for an EPA-estimated range of up to 434 miles and adding Panoramic Vision plus a 17.9-inch Operating System X infotainment display.
- i7 adopts Neue Klasse elements and reaches up to 362 miles, with a 17.9-inch infontainment screen, standard 14.6-inch passenger display and a ceiling-folding 31.3-inch 8K rear theater screen.
- i5 gets BMW’s new styling and up to 310 miles of range in a mid-cycle refresh, but it is not built on the dedicated Neue Klasse platform and lacks some features found on the iX3 and i7.
- BMW will launch the iX5 and i3 in the first quarter of 2027, with both models based on the Neue Klasse platform.
Why it matters: BMW buyers and lessees of eligible 2027 iX3, i5, and i7 models can receive $500 in charging credits and a free year of IONNA membership with a 25% charging discount. The package reduces public-charging costs while directing customers into BMW’s app-based ChargingNetwork enrollment flow.
