- Subaru Trailseeker outsold the Solterra (138) and Uncharted (359) in July with 1,077 units sold, though the Solterra still leads 2025 year-to-date at 5,275 units to the Trailseeker's 3,513

- Trailseeker pricing spans $39,995 (Premium) to $46,555 (Touring), undercutting the Tesla Model Y AWD at $41,990 while offering standard all-wheel drive
- Trailseeker is over 6 inches longer than the Solterra with 97.5 cubic feet of passenger volume, positioning it closer in size to the Outback
Why it matters: The Trailseeker's near-8-to-1 July sales edge over the Solterra (1,077 vs. 138) shows Subaru's larger, 375-hp EV format resonates with buyers — at $39,995, it's nearly $2,000 cheaper than a Tesla Model Y AWD. But the Solterra still leads 2025 year-to-date at 5,275 units, so this is momentum, not a finished overtake.
