- Trailseeker led Subaru's EV lineup in June with 953 units sold, followed by the Uncharted at 699 and the Solterra at just 218.
- Uncharted topped May sales with 1,270 units in only its second full month, while the Trailseeker moved 1,074 and the Solterra sold 750.
- Solterra still leads cumulative H1 2026 sales at 5,137 units, ahead of the Uncharted (2,491) and Trailseeker (2,436).
- Subaru priced the new lineup to span segments: the Uncharted starts at $34,995, the Solterra at $38,495, and the Trailseeker at $39,995.
- Trailseeker offers 375 hp, 3,500-lb towing, and up to 281 miles of range, while the 2026 Solterra delivers up to 288 miles from a new 74.7-kWh battery — a 25% range bump over the outgoing model.
- Solterra now charges from 10% to 80% in under 35 minutes even in cold weather, thanks to a new battery preconditioning system.
- Subaru is developing its EVs through its Toyota partnership, sharing underpinnings with the 2026 Toyota bZ, C-HR, and bZ Woodland, and will add a three-row electric SUV called the Getaway later this year.
Why it matters: Subaru's newest, cheapest Uncharted is already moving more units per month than the Solterra — 1,270 in May and 699 in June versus the Solterra's 750 and 218 — while the Solterra's cumulative H1 2026 lead of 5,137 units is being eaten down rapidly by two vehicles that launched later. A three-row Getaway later this year will test whether the new product cadence can extend that momentum upmarket.
