- The new Excellent trim adds a 51.13 kWh battery delivering up to 501 km of CLTC range, while existing 32 kWh and 45.12 kWh packs retain 301 km and 401 km options.
- The mid-tier 401 km variant is priced roughly 18,000 yuan (~$2,500) below the outgoing model, while the 301 km base trim holds its starting price.
- A limited-time 5,000 yuan "super replacement" subsidy drops effective prices to 69,800–99,800 yuan (~$10,000–$14,500) across the lineup.
- All variants ship with BYD's DiLink 100 cockpit, a 360-degree camera, and the available God's Eye C ADAS suite including Navigate on Autopilot and Remote Parking Assist.
- The Yuan Up/Atto 2 ranked as the world's fifth best-selling EV in H1 2026, per Cleantechnica data, trailing the Tesla Model Y, Tesla Model 3, BYD Song/Seal U, and Geely EX2.
- The upgraded SUV competes directly with Geely's Xingyuan (sold as the EX2 overseas) in China's hot small-EV segment.
