- Cadillac Optiq's base 2027 Luxury RWD listing fell from $52,695 to $51,790, cutting $905 from the price GM announced months earlier.
- Cadillac trimmed Luxury AWD by $905 to $55,290 and Sport RWD and AWD by $900 to $52,395 and $55,895, respectively; Premium Luxury, Premium Sport, and V-Series retained their announced prices.
- Cadillac Optiq offers up to 317 miles of range in RWD models and 303 miles with AWD; every model includes a 33-inch Horizon Display, 19-speaker AKG Studio Audio System, Super Cruise, and a native NACS port.
- Cadillac Optiq became GM's first EV with a built-in NACS port in 2026, and its new RWD option lowered the starting price to $52,395 from $54,390 for 2025.
- Tesla Model Y is nearly the same size as the Optiq but offers slightly more rear legroom and cargo capacity; its Premium RWD starts at $45,990 with up to 355 miles of range.
- Optiq-V starts at $69,295 and delivers Cadillac-estimated 519 lb-ft of torque and 650 horsepower in Velocity MaX Mode, with its price unchanged from the initial announcement.
Why it matters: Optiq shoppers in the Luxury and Sport trims save $900–$905, but Cadillac leaves the Premium and V-Series prices unchanged for the 2027 model year. The adjustment lowers the base listing to $51,790, still $11,800 above the $39,990 Tesla Model Y RWD.
