- Kia's PV5 Cargo High Roof was spotted driving in South Korea ahead of its official launch, expected this fall, marking its first public sighting after debuting at the Busan Mobility Show.
- The PV5 Cargo High Roof stands 295 mm taller than the standard PV5 Cargo and features a redesigned interior layout that makes it easier to move from the driver's seat to the rear area.
- Kia will offer the High Roof in enclosed and refrigerated configurations, both equipped with a safety system that warns the driver if the rear door is open when shifted into park or reverse.
- The PV5 Passenger is available with 51.5 kWh or 71.2 kWh battery packs, delivering WLTP ranges of up to 183 miles and 256 miles respectively, while the Cargo version achieves 184 miles and 258 miles.
- Kia opened UK orders for the PV5 Passenger 7-Seater last month at a starting price of £33,195 (~$44,500), after unveiling three new variants — the 7-Seater (2-2-3), Prime, and Cargo High Roof — at the Busan Mobility Show.
- Kia's PV5 lineup will expand with a new 5-seater (1-1-2) taxi variant, a truck for small business owners, and outdoor/leisure models, with the larger PV7 launching next year and the PV9 by 2030.
