- 9 Lights launches an unscripted division and its first project is a four‑part reality series “Lights, Camera… Kitchen!” that will premiere on Bell Fibe’s TV1 on May 28.
- Nataliya (Russian) and Leeza (Ukrainian) run the kitchen featured in the series, delivering meals to film and TV crews in remote North Ontario locations during harsh winters.
- Pasha Patriki, founder of 9 Lights and cinematographer of “Black Water,” designed the show for international sales, though no distributor is attached yet.
- Bell Fibe TV1 will air the series, providing a new unscripted offering for the Canadian community network.
- 9 Lights recent scripted titles include “Frankie Freako,” “You Gotta Believe,” and the UK‑Canadian co‑production “Owen,” currently in post.
Why it matters: Bell Fibe gains fresh local content to attract viewers, while 9 Lights expands into unscripted TV, opening new revenue streams and international sales potential; the featured families get national exposure for their catering business.
