- PV5 captured 37% of Europe's small (C-segment) electric van market and became the best-seller in 12 countries including the UK and Germany, according to the latest ACEA figures
- Kia sold a record 1,000+ electric vans in the UK in a single month in July, split between 784 PV5 Cargo and 235 PV5 Passenger models
- Kia registered 3,239 PV5 Cargo and 1,141 PV5 Passenger vans through July, propelling it to third place in the UK's electric light commercial vehicle market
- Kia ranks as the second-most-popular EV brand in the UK year-to-date and was the best-selling EV brand overall in July with 3,731 registrations
- Kia plans to sell 232,000 purpose-built vehicles by the end of the decade, with new PV5 variants (7-seater, Prime, Cargo High Roof) joining the lineup
- Kia will launch the larger PV7 electric van next year and the PV9 by 2030, while UK CEO Paul Philpott expects momentum to continue through the rest of 2026
