Why it matters: The TSITP film keeps Amazon's franchise alive, but Tung is clearly positioning herself beyond the YA romance label with two horror projects — one backed by Diablo Cody, the other directed by "Longlegs" filmmaker Osgood Perkins and co-starring Nicole Kidman. Her public friendship with Hudson Williams is already cross-pollinating fanbases between Prime Video and Crave's "Heated Rivalry."
