- Kia expanded its electric GT range with the EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT, which Pablo Martinez Masip said would make electric performance accessible to a broader range of customers.
- Kia equipped all three models with an 81.4 kWh battery, dual-motor all-wheel drive, electronically controlled suspension, 20-inch wheels and neon-green brake calipers.
- EV3 GT produces 288 hp and 345 lb-ft of torque, reaches 62 mph in 5.7 seconds and has a WLTP range of up to 311 miles.
- EV4 GT comes as a hot hatch or fastback; its hatchback reaches 62 mph in 5.6 seconds, while estimated ranges reach 314 miles for the hatchback and 333 miles for the fastback.
- EV5 GT produces 301 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque, reaches 62 mph in 6.2 seconds and offers a WLTP range of up to 295 miles.
Why it matters: For European buyers, the expansion creates a performance GT choice priced from €53,990 to €59,990 in Germany, below the EV6 GT’s €69,990 entry price. That broadens Kia’s electric performance lineup, although UK pricing remains unannounced and the EV4 GT Fastback will not be sold there.
