- Kia expanded its electric GT lineup with the EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT, all now on sale in Europe alongside the EV6 GT and EV9 GT.
- Kia equipped the new GT models with dual-motor all-wheel drive, electronically controlled suspension, Virtual Gear Shift, and Active Sound Design to recreate traditional sports-car sensations.
- EV3 GT produces a combined 288 hp and 345 lb-ft of torque, reaches 62 mph in 5.7 seconds, and has a WLTP range of up to 311 miles.
- EV4 GT is offered as a hot hatch or fastback, reaches 62 mph in 5.6 seconds, and has maximum WLTP ranges of 314 miles for the hatchback and 333 miles for the fastback.
- EV5 GT produces 301 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque, reaches 62 mph in 6.2 seconds, and offers up to 295 miles of WLTP range.
- Kia priced the EV3 GT at €53,990, the EV4 GT at €57,840, and the EV5 GT at €59,990 in Germany, while the EV3 GT starts at $45,890 in the US and the other two models have no US launch plans.
Why it matters: European buyers gain three additional electric GT choices at €53,990–€59,990 in Germany, expanding Kia’s performance EV reach beyond the €69,990 EV6 GT and €90,490 EV9 GT. US shoppers are limited to the EV3 GT, while the EV4 GT and EV5 GT are not planned for the US.
