Why it matters: Xiaomi is repeating the playbook that undercut Tesla's Model Y: build a well-equipped vehicle the segment already wants, then price it well below the established flagships. The N70 Pro's ~$31,275 entry lands roughly $10,000 beneath the Li Auto L9 and AITO M9, pressuring the two EREV incumbents at exactly the price-sensitive family-SUV tier — but US buyers get nothing, since the SkyNomad is China-only for now.
