- Subaru's Trailseeker and Uncharted outsold the Solterra in both May and June 2026, just months after arriving at dealerships.
- The Trailseeker led June sales with 953 units, followed by the Uncharted at 699, while the overhauled Solterra trailed with 218.
- The Uncharted topped May 2026 in only its second full sales month, posting 1,270 units—beating the Trailseeker's 1,074 and the Solterra's 750.
- The 2026 Solterra still leads year-to-date with 5,137 units sold through H1 2026, ahead of the Uncharted's 2,491 and Trailseeker's 2,436.
- The overhauled Solterra now offers 288 miles of range (a 25% jump from 227) plus 10–80% charging in under 35 minutes thanks to a new battery preconditioning system.
- The Trailseeker starts at $39,995 with 375 hp and 3,500-lb towing, while the smaller Uncharted starts at $34,995—slotting below the Solterra's $38,495 entry price.
- Subaru is launching the three-row Getaway electric SUV later this year and shares its EV underpinnings with Toyota's bZ, C-HR, and bZ Woodland.
Why it matters: The June 2026 split—953 Trailseeker plus 699 Uncharted against just 218 Solterra—signals the older model's market position is collapsing despite its major 2026 overhaul. With the Getaway three-row arriving later this year on shared Toyota underpinnings, Subaru is rapidly shifting its EV momentum toward the new nameplates.
