- Hyundai opened European orders for the Staria Electric at €57,450 (~$66,500) in Germany — with leases from €489/month — after first launching the EV in South Korea earlier this year and debuting it at the Brussels Motor Show in January.
- The Staria Electric measures 5,253 mm long, seats up to nine in an open-plan flat-floor layout, and is roughly 200 mm longer than Hyundai's three-row IONIQ 9 while outsizing the Kia PV5 and Volkswagen ID. Buzz.
- An 84 kWh battery paired with a 160 kW (218 hp) front motor delivers up to 430 km (267 miles) of WLTP range, and the 800V architecture enables a 10–80% charge in about 20 minutes at a 350 kW DC fast charger.
- Three trims are offered: the Trend 9-seater (€57,450), the Prime 9-seater (€63,350/~$73,500) with dual electric sliding doors and Highway Assistant 1.5, and the range-topping Calligraphy 7-seater (€66,950/~$77,800) with Nappa leather and second-row relaxation seats.
- The van packs 1,303 liters of luggage space plus a 24-liter frunk in 9-seat form, dual 12.3" screens with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, vehicle-to-load (V2L) for powering external electronics, and Hyundai's latest Navigation Cockpit (ccNC).
- Hyundai simultaneously opened orders for the IONIQ 3 compact EV in Europe (from €28,950/~$33,000) and the Staria Load Electric commercial van in Australia at 70,990 AUD — undercutting the Ford E-Transit Custom, which starts at 77,890 AUD.
- Neither the Staria Electric nor the IONIQ 3 will reach the US; Hyundai doesn't sell the gas-powered Staria domestically, and the IONIQ 3 was designed and built specifically for Europe, leaving American buyers with the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 9.
