- Hyundai opened European orders for the 9-seat Staria Electric, with the base Trend trim starting at €57,450 (~$66,500) in Germany and leases from €489/month.
- The Staria Electric measures 5,253 mm long — about 200 mm longer than the IONIQ 9 and larger than the Kia PV5 and Volkswagen ID. Buzz — offering 1,303 liters of luggage space and a 24-liter frunk.
- An 84 kWh battery and 160 kW (218 hp) front motor deliver up to 430 km (267 miles) of WLTP range; the van's 800V architecture charges from 10% to 80% in ~20 minutes at a 350 kW DC fast-charger, plus vehicle-to-load (V2L) for powering external devices.
- Hyundai is offering three trims: the Prime 9-seater (€63,350) adds dual electric sliding doors, Highway Assistant 1.5, and a 230V socket; the range-topping Calligraphy 7-seater (€66,950 / ~$77,800) adds Nappa leather, a BOSE sound system, and second-row relaxation seats with heating and ventilation.
- Hyundai simultaneously launched the IONIQ 3 in Europe at €28,950 (~$33,000) and the commercial Staria Load Electric in Australia at 70,990 AUD — undercutting the Ford E-Transit Custom's 77,890 AUD starting price.
- Neither the Staria Electric nor the IONIQ 3 will reach the US; Hyundai's American EV lineup stays limited to the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 9, since the gas Staria was never sold there.
