- Great Han recorded 4,000 sales in the 19 days after BYD launched it in China on October 13, becoming the first fully electric D-segment flagship sedan in the Dynasty lineup.
- Great Han is offered in three variants from 235,900 yuan (about $35,000), while BYD said it had established itself in the mid-to-high-end sedan segment above 250,000 yuan (about $37,500).
- Great Han delivers up to 1,008 km (626 miles) of CLTC range in the RWD Premium trim, while the AWD Flagship offers 880 km (546 miles); every version uses a 102.326 kWh Blade 2.0 battery pack.
- Flash Charging takes the Great Han’s battery from 10% to 70% in five minutes and from 10% to 97% in nine minutes.
- God's Eye B is paired with a roof-mounted LiDAR on the Great Han and offers highway and city Navigate on Autopilot plus remote autonomous parking; every variant also includes DiSus-A dual-chamber suspension, rear-wheel steering and zero-gravity front seats.
- Great Han measures 5,256 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,510 mm tall on a 3,130 mm wheelbase, making it slightly bigger than Model S and Lucid Air and closer in size to the long-wheelbase S-Class.
- BYD sold more than 300,000 EVs last month—more than the United States did in all of Q3 combined—and sold 1,953,700 vehicles through October, up 6% from the same period in 2025.
Why it matters: BYD has sold 4,000 Great Han units in 19 days in a market it says the sedan has established above 250,000 yuan, with the car starting at 235,900 yuan. Buyers also get a 10-to-97% recharge in nine minutes, giving the premium pitch a measurable convenience benefit.
